The Quartier Heidestraße is where the workplaces of tomorrow are being created, with offices that reflect the spirit of this city and this location. The proximity to politics, city administration, economics, culture and medicine, combined with perfect transport connections, make this an ideal location – a space for innovative workplace solutions.
A design for 10 interconnected buildings by architectural firm EM2N is being built. They are all different in design, with five having 12 floors that also serve to accentuate the horizontal structures. The bright facades are made from precast concrete elements and feature references to Berlin’s industrial architecture. In several places, recesses in the facade provide for loggias, as well as atriums and balcony areas that open to the outside. The architectural concept of use also gives a distinctive look to each address, promoting significant user identification.
The commercial zone will run along the railway lines on the western edge of the quarter and provide around 114,000 sqm gross floor area.
