Europacity: Sophistication in the heart of the capital

An unmistakable piece of urban sophistication built on a former rail yard. Europacity is a new district in the centre of Berlin within walking distance of the main station and surrounded by political and cultural institutions.

Europacity is a unique major inner city project under construction on a site of around 61 hectares. When completed it will include office and commercial

spaces and approximately 3,000 apartments. Major companies like PWC, KPMG, 50Hertz and the oil company Total, as well as a number of large hotels, have already moved here. Other companies from a wide variety of industries will follow. As a residential location, Europacity also benefits from its unique inner city location.

A new city quarter in the centre of Berlin

Nearby Europacity is the Chancellery, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, among others. Various associations, research institutions of the Charité hospital and Humboldt University, plus a wide range of cultural and leisure activities are also within reach. The contemporary art museum Hamburger Bahnhof, the Museum

of Natural History, the Futurium, the popular Fritz-Schloss-Park with its wide variety of sports facilities, and the palatial Vabali Spa, are easy to reach by foot or bicycle. As is Berlin’s central city park, Grosser Tiergarten, and the historic city quarter, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Stadt, home of the Deutsches Theater, the Berliner Ensemble and countless culinary delights.
