TAURECON LEASES HOTEL SPACE IN THE QUARTIER HEIDESTRASSE DISTRICT TO ALTHOFF HOTELS

Berlin, June 10, 2020. The Heidestrasse quarter is growing upwards bit by bit. This also increases the number of contracts signed for the mixed-use neighborhood’s uses. A lease has been signed with Althoff Hotels for the hotel space in the QH Spring subproject.

Berlin, June 10, 2020. The Heidestrasse quarter is growing upwards bit by bit. This also increases the number of contracts signed for the mixed-use neighborhood’s uses. A lease has been signed with Althoff Hotels for the hotel space in the QH Spring subproject. Althoff Hotels will thus open its second hotel of the design & lifestyle brand URBAN LOFT in Berlin. It will offer 180 rooms on a total area of just over 5,700 m². The Quartier hotel, located in the immediate vicinity of Berlin’s main train station, is scheduled for handover between the fourth quarter of 2021 and April 2022. The lease is for 20 years with the option of two five-year extensions.

QUARTER ENTREE AT BERLIN MAIN STATION

QH Spring offers space in an urban mix for the URBAN LOFT facing Heidestraße, for a daycare center and for approximately 260 rental apartments. Its 12-story residential tower will be an accent visible from afar. Five commercial units for retail with areas ranging from 80 m² to 200 m² complete the urban mix. QH Spring comprises a total of approximately 27,800 square meters of gross floor space. The design for the high-quality three-dimensional concrete facade with fine metal elements comes from the office CKRS Architects. The green courtyard is used proportionally by the hotel, daycare center and tenants.

DIGITAL QUARTIER HEIDESTRASSE

The Heidestrasse quarter is one of the city’s major project developments. Here, on an area of around 8.5 hectares, a lively, urban, digital and sustainable quarter is being created in which all forms of modern working, living and housing can be combined. In several construction phases, a total of approximately 191,500 square meters of gross floor area (GFA) of office and commercial space and around 940 apartments will be built. In addition to QH Spring, the QH Core and QH Track subprojects are also under construction.
